Featuring speaker Dr. Sara Via, Professor and Climate Extension Specialist at the University of Maryland, this event will explore the impacts of climate change on landscapes and how to create properties that will reduce carbon emissions, improve soil health, manage stormwater, and increase biodiversity.

Following the key speaker's presentation, there will be an audience Q&A session, followed by a breakout session of landscape solution stations for one-on-one consultations with Master Gardener experts. Complimentary desserts and drinks will be available.

2024 Advanced Landscape IPM PHC Short Course

This is a recertification short course for arborists, landscapers, IPM consultants, horticulturalists, professional gardeners, and others responsible for urban plant management. The course lectures will be held over four days at the University of Maryland, College Park, MD.
