Celebrate Maryland Homecoming with AGNR at the Campus Farm! 

You can hug a sheep and/or a goat on Friday, October 16 from 10am-3pm. Make sure to bring your phone for photos. 

Attendees will also have the opportunity to purchase handmade goat milk soap made by UMD Block and Bridle Club, using milk from the goats on the farm. No registration necessary, just stop on by. This event is open to all!

While you're here, dive into the history of Pecans on the Shore, make your own pecan crafts, take part in a pecan tree planting, and sample delicious pecan food demos.

Bring the whole family for games, giveaways, and fun for all ages. There's something for everyone, and it's all free!

You're invited to join us for the 8th annual AGNR Cornerstone Event!

This year's event will take place on Tuesday, November 10 starting at 10:00am in the Grand Ballroom in The Stamp Student Union, University of Maryland, College Park. 

The event is free and open to the public. Guests may also register on-site the day of the event. 

Our keynote speaker will be Johan Swinnen, director general of the International Food Policy Research Institute. He will deliver a talk on the politics and economics of global food security, a topic highly relevant and timely to our work. Following his talk, there will be a moderated Q&A.

In addition to Johan's keynote, we will offer free parking, a catered lunch, a poster competition featuring the excellent work of our students, and some social time to mingle with friends and colleagues.
