This webinar explores the financial side of solar PV, including system cost components and soft costs, incentive structures, net metering and interconnection considerations, and approaches to estimating cash flow and simple payback. We’ll compare ownership and leasing models and outline how to assemble a straightforward economic case for homes, farms, and small businesses. AGNR faculty and staff are invited to the 2026 State of the College and Awards Ceremony on Wednesday, May 13, at 10:00 am at the Riggs Alumni Center. The AGNR Faculty and Staff Excellence Awards serve to recognize and celebrate the exceptional achievements and contributions of our colleagues across the College in innovative research, impactful teaching, meaningful extension work, service, and leadership. 

Join University of Maryland Extension Educator, Rachel Rhodes, to learn about simple plant propagation techniques and common house plants to duplicate.  Participants will have the opportunity to propagate plants and take home cuttings afterwards.

Participants will learn more about herbs that are vibrant, nutritious, and can grow in compact locations (like a windowsill). Pots, soil media, and herbs will be provided for each audience member to take home.

PSLA Seminars are held in person weekly on Mondays beginning 2.9.26 in PLS Building Rm 2107/2109 from 12PM-1PM followed by graduate student lunch with the seminar speaker. Seminars will be broadcast live via Zoom. Spring 2026 will feature speakers from the University of Oregon, National Links Trust, Brookhaven National Laboratory, MSDE, and the University of Florida.
