This webinar explores the financial side of solar PV, including system cost components and soft costs, incentive structures, net metering and interconnection considerations, and approaches to estimating cash flow and simple payback. We’ll compare ownership and leasing models and outline how to assemble a straightforward economic case for homes, farms, and small businesses. Join University of Maryland Extension Educator, Rachel Rhodes, to learn about simple plant propagation techniques and common house plants to duplicate.  Participants will have the opportunity to propagate plants and take home cuttings afterwards.

Join us for the Annual Community Seed Exchange on Saturday, March 07, 2026, from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm at Frostburg City Place. The event will include demonstrations with the Master Gardeners, kids' activities, and more. Free seeds will be available for all attendees (while supplies last). 

This event is being held simultaneously with the Garden Supply Swap hosted by the Frostburg Green Team, the Plant Swap hosted by the Allegany County Public Library in Frostburg, and the Winter Farmer's Market. Other local organizations will share information and garden related activities.
