Join us for Dining with Diabetes, a diabetes education program for adults with type 2 diabetes or pre-diabetes and their families. Dining with Diabetes teaches healthy meal planning and other self-management skills. the Dining with Diabetes program is offered as a series of four weekly classes and one follow up class after three months. Each in-person session includes diabetes education and food tastings.
This program will meet on Wednesdays, from 5-7 PM, on May 7, 14, 21, & 28, 2025.

Be a confident pruner by learning: basic plant physiology, pruning techniques, reasons to prune, and tools needed. We will also practice with hand pruners.
UME will host town hall meetings across the state to gather feedback and input from community residents and stakeholders. This is a unique opportunity for community members to help shape UME’s strategic focus and influence future programming and outreach efforts. These town hall meetings offer a forum for community members to share insights on local needs, discuss pressing opportunities, ask questions, and provide valuable feedback on UME’s future direction. The perspectives and ideas shared during this event will be instrumental as UME develops a plan that responds to the challenges and priorities identified by Maryland communities.
This is our annual meeting for farmers and producers to receive education and Nutrient Management and Private Pesticide License credits.
