Join the Department of Nutrition and Food Science and the Department of Animal and Avian Sciences at the University of Maryland, College Park, for the 2026 Mary Shorb Lecture in Nutrition, featuring Ji-Young Lee, PhD, Professor and Chair of the Department of Nutrition and Food Science.

Dr. Lee will present “Rethinking NAD+ Boosting in Obesity: Why Sex Matters,” exploring the importance of sex-specific considerations in understanding NAD+ metabolism and its potential implications for obesity research and treatment.

The lecture will take place on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. in Charles Carroll Room 2203K at the Stamp Student Union. A reception will follow from 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.
