Having experienced firsthand the benefits of 4-H in her own life, Anna Glenn is excited to bring her expertise and passion as a youth development professional to Frederick County 4-H. As a Maryland native, she was proud to earn her B.S. degrees in Animal Sciences and Agricultural Sciences and Technology from the College of AGNR at the University of Maryland. She then went on to complete an M.S. degree in Agricultural Leadership, Education, and Communications at Texas A&M University. Throughout her career both here in the US and abroad, she has been focused on supporting the growth of healthy communities by working with youth and other diverse stakeholders to create sustainable programs with local ownership that foster long-lasting impact and change for all. Her interest and focus areas in teaching and research have included urban agriculture opportunities, food security issues, youth and adult horticulture programs, animal science, agribusiness/entrepreneurship, institutional capacity building, leadership development, diversity, equity & inclusion, and cross-cultural education.
