As a bonus to being part of the B1G, the University of Maryland Department of Athletics is working with academic units for sporting events throughout the year. To kick off this relationship, the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources will be the first featured College during the match-up between the Terps and Michigan State University on November 15. The College of AGNR will be spotlighted in Terp Town prior to the 8 PM kickoff. Fans are encouraged to wear black to the game to help #BlackoutSparty!
Terp Town is the official pregame event of Maryland Football. Terp Town is FREE and open to the public and will open 4 hours prior to the Michigan State kickoff (4:00 PM) and concludes 30 minutes prior to the start of the game (7:30 PM). It is located on Field House Drive just south of Capital One Field at Byrd Stadium. An express shuttle service is available and provides convenient transportation from the XFINITY Center parking lots to the STAMP Student Union, which is just a 1/8 mile walk from Terp Town.

AGNR-related activities will include the Maryland Agricultural Education Foundation Showcase trailer with crafts and family activities connecting athletics and agriculture. AGNR students involved with the inaugural “Terp Farm” collaborative project with the Office of Sustainably and Dining Services will also be on hand to share their experiences and details about their progress.
