Career Goal:
My career goal is to become a certified canine rehabilitation therapist. I thoroughly enjoy the process of helping pets return to their prior state before their injury or surgery.
Clubs:
Guided study session leader, student employee in the Student Involvement Suite (SORC), Pre-vet Society, Terp Service Days
Favorite Place on Campus:
My favorite place on campus is the fountain on McKeldin Mall. It is a beautiful place to sit when the weather is nice. I would often take breaks from studying during finals week just to sit on the fountain. Also, its a great place to see dogs!
Advice for New Students:
Organization is key especially when you are juggling class, exams, extracurriculars and a social life. There are a few ways to stay organized. One of the most common is through a planner but if you cannot remember to write things down then online organization tools are a great alternative. For example, I use Google Calendar and the Momentum extension on Google Chrome. They are lifesavers because they keep the most important information in one place that is easy to access. Get involved with organizations that contribute to your success and engage you with the greater College Park Community. Take advantages of the relationships you build, including those where you work-- they may open you up to finding a new passion or direction in life!
