Biography

Biography:

Mamidipudi Ramakrishna Sharan is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics at the University of Maryland, College Park., specializing in development economics and political economy. 

His research focuses on inequality in socially diverse settings and how institutional and technological innovations could empower marginalized groups. His current research focuses on ethnic divisions within government and how a formal complaints technology could help representatives from minority backgrounds overcome ethnic barriers and deliver public goods in their jurisdictions.
