Education: • B.S.- Perdue School of Business – Salisbury University Business Manager at the Wye Research and Education Center and Harry R. Hughes Center for Agro-Ecology since 2001. Prior to this position I was the Grants and Contracts Manager at Chesapeake College in Wye Mills, MD for six years. As the Business Manager I am responsible for managing the state, federal, grant and contract funding for the Wye Research Center’s various programs and the University of MD System Foundation. This includes the procurement and reviewing of expenditures, depositing and managing receipts and revenue streams, reconciling transactions with monthly account statements, submitting financial reports/analyses to the appropriate personnel including Board of Directors and Department Chair, leading annual external audits, using internet based applications for interface with University systems, and providing liaison between WREC and University personnel.
