Julia Rycyna received a doctorate in Plant Medicine. This interdisciplinary program covered entomology and nematology, plant pathology, and plant soil, and weed sciences. It is not a degree about using plants as medicine for humans.
Dr. Julia Rycyna is currently the Home Horticulture Educator and Master Gardener Coordinator for Charles County and is able to use her knowledge to give community members advice on managing pests, plants, and landscapes in an environmentally sustainable way.
