January 2008 - Since retirement in 2003, I have continued to be engaged in herbicide research in cooperation with the USDA,IR-4 Project with ornamental crops. My projects involve the evaluation of new reduced risk herbicides for efficacy in container and field production in nurseries. Annually, fifty or more studies are conducted with new herbicide chemistry treatments applied to woody and herbaceous ornamentals and seedling trees.
