Caitlin Daw is the Family & Consumer Sciences (FCS) Educator with University of Maryland Extension serving Worcester County. She provides research-based education that empowers individuals and families to make informed decisions that support healthier lives and stronger communities.
Caitlin specializes in nutrition, chronic disease prevention and management, food safety, financial wellness, and healthy living across the lifespan. She develops and delivers educational programs for youth, adults, older adults, and community organizations, with a focus on practical, evidence-based strategies that improve health and well-being.
Before joining University of Maryland Extension, Caitlin worked in clinical and community nutrition settings, including weight management and public health nutrition. She has more than 14 years of experience in nutrition education and holds both a bachelor's degree in Dietetics and a master's degree in Holistic Nutrition.
Caitlin is passionate about making healthy choices practical, affordable, and achievable for everyone.
