An annual tradition for the University of Maryland and the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources continues THIS Saturday, April 27, from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.
It will mark the 88th Ag Day and 15th Maryland Day – an event chock full of fun, interactive festivities that invite you to “Explore Our Fearless World” and experience everything the College of AGNR and UMD have to offer.
Be sure to spend time at “Ag Day Avenue” where you can:
*Watch a horse show or livestock show featuring pigs, lambs, dairy heifers and beef steers at the Campus Farm
*Meet the two new foals born right on the Campus Farm this spring and vote for their future racing names
*Take a tour of an “Urban Oasis” – the university’s very own Research Greenhouse Complex
*Get answers to your garden, lawn or pest questions from the experts at University of Maryland Extension’s Home and Garden Information Center
*Check out UMD’s very first green wall being constructed on the side of the Animal Sciences building
*Meet Chai, the cow with a window in the side of her stomach
