Amanda Shaffer is the Diversity Officer for AGNR. Her responsibilities include providing guidance in support of AGNR’s diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect (DEIR) strategic plan and for the programs in the college, MAES, and UME.
She develops and presents DEIR education, leads strategy discussions, steers the DEIR Council in their work, oversees the climate survey, and otherwise supports faculty, staff, and graduate assistants across the college.
She is available to facilitate discussions, book clubs, serve on panels, and provide customized workshops around many DEIR related topics.
