American Ecological Engineering Society

The American Ecological Engineering Society (AEES), student chapter at the University of Maryland, is a professional society for students interested in integrating ecology, the environment, and engineering! We welcome all majors, undergraduate, and graduate students who are interesting in learning more about ecological engineering and spreading awareness of this newly developed concept!

As a society, we plan events, fundraise, bring in guest speakers, participate in AG day, among many other events! Requirements for membership are attending bi-weekly meetings, becoming a student member of the larger AEES professional society, and participating in events and fundraisers!
