Amy Callahan is a dedicated community dietitian working with the University of Maryland Extension through the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP-Ed). Amy currently serves as the Baltimore project leader with Maryland SNAP-Ed, serving communities in both Baltimore City and County. Specializing in community health, Amy strives to form strong partnerships with the communities she serves by working alongside key community stakeholders to create programs which make health and wellness accessible to everyone. Her goals are to improve public health outcomes, reduce food insecurity, and foster long-term, sustainable changes in health behaviors.
