Responsible for all personnel functions for staff, including recruitment, selection, benefits, counseling, disciplinary actions, and termination.  Responsible for the bidding and procuring of all items required by the court, with duties including price analysis, record keeping, and control of budget allocation in this area per Judiciary Policies.  Also responsible for assisting in the development of the budget, writing administrative reports, as well as analyzing and developing management procedures for the clerk’s office.   Supervise Intake team.

Responsible for the bidding and procuring of all items required by the Court of Appeals, Circuit Executive's Office, and the Legal Division, staff totaling 300. Responsible for hiring and evaluating performance of staff, leave usage, and allocation of resources.  Verify daily cash out of monies received by court, upload financial data, and prepare bank deposits.  Facilitate team meetings and counsel employees regarding work performance.  Conduct new employee orientation and other training programs.  Develop new intake and imaging team to support electronic filing procedures. Work with judges, attorneys and public to resolve case issues, as required.  Work with division manager to develop new procedures, and serve as division manager in her absence.

Serve as project manager for special projects, coordinating resource needs, priorities, and timetables for completion.  Projects include: conversion to electronic filing, facilities renovations, development of new work teams, review of finance/procurement units, and new employee orientation program. Review existing policies and procedures, identifying modifications and additions to internal operating policies and procedures to efficiently meet the goals of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court. Gather data for analysis and write reports and recommendations summarizing findings for use in process improvement initiatives. Set up and manage time and attendance program for organization.  Assist in identifying training needs and development of training programs for staff.  Conduct training for judges and staff in Word Perfect 8.0, Lotus Notes, Excel, and other software products. Serve as Alternative Dispute Resolution Staff Assistant to chief judge.

Human Resources Manager
