Dr. Troy Anthony Anderson is a Family and Consumer Sciences Extension Agent with the University of Maryland, specializing in financial wellness, consumer education, and financial technology. He brings extensive experience in Career and Technical Education (CTE), having taught a diverse range of courses and facilitated numerous workshops focused on personal finance and financial literacy. Dr. Anderson is dedicated to helping organizations and community leaders build internal capacity through strategic planning, innovative programming, and impactful educational initiatives that serve youth and families across Southern Maryland. His work emphasizes evidence-based approaches to strengthening financial well-being and expanding access to consumer education resources. He currently serves as Vice President of Member Resources on the Board of Directors for the National Extension Association of Family and Consumer Sciences (NEAFCS), where he provides leadership for key initiatives, including the Leadership Experience, First Timers Event, May Membership Month, and the Journal of NEAFCS.
