AGNR Student Research Shines at 6th Annual Cornerstone Event

The College of Agriculture & Natural Resources held its sixth annual Cornerstone event on Tuesday, November 19, 2024 at University of Maryland featuring keynote speaker Ruben Echeverria from the Gates Foundation. The event also featured a student research poster session celebrating work associated with our Strategic Initiatives.   

In total there were 75 poster submissions showcasing the depth and myriad of research, Extension, and teaching being undertaken in the college. 

Posters were judged based on the following criteria: Organization, Clarity of Hypothesis, Objectives, Goals, Overall Scientific Quality, and Clarity of Oral Presentation.
