Ways to Engage with our Students
Post a Position
Handshake is the university’s online job and internship database that allows employers to post positions, browse resumes and register for upcoming events. This is our preferred method for posting positions for students within AGNR. To post a position, you will first need to set up an account in Handshake. Check out the "Getting Started on Handshake" tab for more information.
Internships: We encourage you to post your internship opportunities via Handshake. Additionally, if you’re interested in starting a new internship program, we are happy to share with you best practices for having a successful internship program. Check out the Internship Guide for Employers to help you learn how to create, develop and/or enhance an internship program for University of Maryland, College Park students.
Participate in Fair and Events
Career Fairs and Networking Events are a great way for organizations to connect with UMD students and build brand recognition on our campus. The University Career Center and UCC@AGNR host a number of fairs and events during the academic year to meet your recruiting needs. View the list of Career Fairs and Events.
