Miri Talabac, a horticulture consultant at HGIC, graduated from UMCP in 2002 with a BS in biology and a concentration in entomology. She has been a Certified Professional Horticulturist since 2003. She has 22 years of experience in ornamental horticulture as a sales associate and buyer of woody plants at Behnke Nurseries in Beltsville. Miri enjoys indoor and outdoor gardening, hiking, and crafts such as cross-stitch and origami.
