Peer Mentor Jason Wong


Jason Wong is conducting research on the rain gardens outside of Symons Hall.Jason Wong is a junior Environmental Science and Policy major with a concentration in Environmental Economics. Originally from Hong Kong, Shanghai and Baltimore, Md., Jason feels connected to the local and international communities. His passion for AGNR and the University of Maryland extends beyond the classroom—he participates in many research projects and extracurricular activities.  During Winter term 2011, Jason travelled to Germany for study abroad and returned to the country in the summer to conduct research and study German. His zeal for helping his peers navigate the university earned him the nickname "UMD 411." Whether you're interested in registering for classes, research opportunities, or study abroad, Jason is happy share his advice and experiences with you.
