Academic Programs > For Current Undergrads > AGNR Peer Mentors > Hanum Wensil-Strow
Hanum Wensil-Strow is a junior majoring in Environmental Science and Policy and Animal Science with a concentration in Wildlife. Originally a biology major, Hanum struggled with choosing a major and is grateful for the help she received from professors, advisors and peers. As a peer mentor, she hopes to help other students improve their academic and social experience at Maryland. Her internships and jobs include positions at the College Park Animal Hospital, Camp Walden, and the National Aquarium in Baltimore. Her work as a site leader for Terps for Change, a member of Voices of Social Change, and a speaker at Heifer International have inspired her to act as a facilitator for others and to seek positive change.
