MAC-IECA Scholarship

MAC-IECA Scholarship (Mid-Atlantic Chapter of the International Erosion Control Association)

Three $500 scholarships will be awarded.

Requirements:

Declared a major in an accredited four-year VA, MD, WV, PA, NJ, DE or DC college or university
Must be rising sophomore, junior or senior who registered full time for Fall semester.
Must be pursuing a career in environmental science, agricultural science or engineering, soil science, agronomy or forestry
Minimum 2.75 cumulative GPA

Application is due June 15. Winners announced no later than August 1.

Please send brief essay (two pages maximum, typed, single spaced, 12 point font) on your career goals, specifically including which facet of the erosion and sediment control industry you would like to practice following graduation from college and why. Also send a completed application form and one letter of reference from a current or past professor.
