Delmarva Poultry Industry Scholarship

One or more undergraduate scholarships with a minimum value of $1,500 will be awarded to a resident of the Delmarva Peninsula who is an undergraduate student at any accredited, degree-granting institution, with an academic major in a subject relevant to Delmarva's poultry industry and who is pursuing a career path leading to employment in some segment of Delmarva's poultry industry.

Eligibility:

  1. Any undergraduate student at a four year institution or any student in a two year program who has an academic major in or a major interest in poultry. Previous recipients, if still eligible, may reapply.
  2. The applicant must be a student in good standing at one of the following at an accredited institution within the United States.
  3. Preference will be given to students whose family is a member or owns a business that is a member of Delmarva Poultry Industry, Inc.

Selection: Scholarship recipients will be selected by a committee of representatives from Delmarva Poultry Industry, Inc. Preference will be given to applicants planning a career in any segment of Delmarva's poultry industry.

Applications must be RECEIVED at the following address by the beginning of April. Late applications WILL NOT be considered. Applicants may wish to contact Delmarva Poultry Industry, Inc. (DPI) at the above number of email address to be sure application was received prior to deadline.
