American Farm Publications, Inc.

American Farm Publications, Inc. is awarding five $1,000 Delmarva Farmer scholarships to members of farm families; to those employed in an ag-related field; and to those who are studying for a career in agriculture. These scholarships are available to residents of Maryland, Delaware, Virginia, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania only.

To apply, students should go to www.americanfarm.com and complete and postmark the application by March 2, 2009. Students should also include a high school or college transcript, and an original essay detailing your agricultural background, interests, accomplishments, and financial need. The essay should be no more than 500 words. Hard copies of the application are also available from Sheila Brown in Room 0108 Symons Hall. Hard copies should be sent to:
