Originally my teaching experience included elementary/middle school art teaching as well as adult art positions within Talbot County, my home county. I started working part time with 4-H and have since 2000 worked as a 4-H Educator in Caroline County.
My areas of interest include: safety in regards to agriculture and that includes a number of safety programs beyond the ag areas- such as electric, weather , sun, food and other safety topics.
I authored sections of the national 4-H CCS curriculum for art (middle and high school level) - Portfolio Pathways and Crossroads Sketchbooks.
I designed a 4-H Animal Safety curriculum which has been used throughtout the US in 4-H as well as with other youth settings.
I have developed and had authored nutrition curriculum in regards to "water- an essential nutrient."
focus for 2007: ATV safety and nutrition programming with 2 grants supoported by National 4-H,National ATV Safety Institute and Kraft Foods.
