Equine Business Management
If you have a desire to make a career out of your love for horses, then the Equine Business Management program may be just the place for you. We provide you with hands-on learning opportunities in the areas of horse health care, nutrition, behavior, and pasture management; and you will learn important skills in business management, finance and personnel management. Students also complete a very valuable internship at a farm.
Sustainable Agriculture (Business Management)
A revolutionary return to smaller-scale, bio-diverse sustainable farming practices is changing the way farmers manage pests, nurture soil and diversity crops in Maryland and across the country. New and old technologies ignite creative solutions to meet the challenges of producing profitable yields while protecting natural resources. You can apply knowledge of effective natural solutions and business management skills to careers in Community Supported Agriculture, small scale crop production, and various agricultural enterprises.
