Welcome to the University Career Center at the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources (UCC @AGNR). UCC @AGNR is located in Symons Hall, room 0107B in the Academic Programs suite.

  • How to prepare and practice for interviews

  • Best practices for making contacts within a specific industry

  • Salary research and job negotiations.

The Program Director for AGNR, Mrs. Christina Farmer ( is available Mondays, Wednesdays - Fridays by appointment to meet directly with AGNR students to discuss their career needs. To schedule an appointment, students must log on to their Careers4Terps account with their UMD Directory ID and password. Once logged in, select “Request a Career Advising Appointment” from the C4T Quick Links.

If you need foundational or introductory information about resumes or careers, visit the University Career Center & The President's Promise, located at 3100 Hornbake Library, South Wing, Monday through Friday between 10 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. for one-on-one assistance with our Peer Career Educators (PCE).

In addition to meeting in person with career advisors, the University Career Center and the President's Promise website, provides a plethora of information regarding jobs, internships, and professional development opportunities. You can also view upcoming workshops and events.

To assist in the internship and job search process, University of Maryland offers all students and alumni the Careers4Terps (C4T) online career opportunities database. View the AGNR Job Board

Departmental Websites:

Many departments within AGNR may have individual websites and other online resources where students can locate and apply to internships and jobs specific to that department.
