PHR Customer Service Center

We are pleased to announce that the new PHR Customer Service Center is now fully operational. The new Customer Service Center replaces the old PHR Help Center and is now located in Suite 1101 of the Chesapeake Building. The telephone number is unchanged at 301-405-7575. Our e-mail address is PHRSERV@ACCMAIL.UMD.EDU. The hours of operation are M-F 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

 The PHR Customer Service Center staff is as follows:

The staff is available to assist 'Creators and Approvers' with all PHR questions. The Customer Service Center's responsibilities include:

  • Provide day-to-day customer service for PHR employee appointment and time entry questions. This includes questions on salary and salary additions, funding sources, security access, work group supervision and employee demographics.
  • Assist campus units with setting up new time entry work groups
  • Implement security and provide assistance concerning security access for users of PHR and the Warehouse on the Web (WOW).
  • Maintain advanced sick leave, extended sick leave, and family and medical leave payback for the College Park campus.
  • Work with campus units to diagnose and correct PHR data each pay period utilizing a suite of diagnostic reports and personal contact with unit creators.
  • Initiate social security number changes and corrections for campus employees in PHR.
  • Initiate mass user communications via e-mail concerning upcoming PHR developments, schedules, hot topics, etc.
  • Maintain the PHR website and respond to all questions submitted by users via the website.
  • Provide PHR application training and time entry training and maintain training materials.

  • Provide on site, specialized client PHR training at the request of campus units. Training sessions can be scheduled via a PHR Customer Service Representative.
  • Assist users with PHR WOW Report questions and process requests for additional or improved PHR WOW reports.
  • Provide feedback to PHR system management regarding system enhancements and improvements.
