The Maryland Agricultural Education Foundation (MAEF): MAEF is a nonprofit organization founded to increase awareness and appreciation of the relationship of agriculture and the environment, and the critical role of the food and fiber system in our society. The Maryland Egg Council: The Maryland Egg Council is an informal industry association that serves approximately 135 members representing 65 egg-related companies in Maryland. Their mission is the promotion, education, and service of the egg industry as they routinely promote the value of fresh eggs in terms of nutrition, safety, versatility, quality, and economy.
Smithsonian National Zoo: The mission of the Nation's Zoo is to provide leadership in animal care, service, education, and sustainability. The goal is to provide the highest quality animal care; to advance scientific excellence in conserving wildlife; to teach and inspire people in conservation of wildlife, water, and habitats; and to practice conservation leadership in all they do.
